OUR HISTORY

PERFORMANCE COLLISION CENTER got its start in 1974 as a little four person body shop for the newly opened Tri-County Toyota store. As Tri-County Toyota grew, so did its little body shop. In 1989, Tri-County Toyota changed its name to Performance Toyota, so TRI-COUNTY TOYOTA BODY SHOP became PERFORMANCE TOYOTA BODY SHOP. As PERFORMANCE TOYOTA BODY SHOP continued to grow, it eventually outgrew its space in the back of the Performance Toyota building, and moved into its own building next door to Performance Toyota (the former Tri-County Harley Davidson building). Eventually outgrowing its facility there, it moved to its current location at 3396 Port Union Road and became PERFORMANCE COLLISION CENTER in 1996.

A decision was made in 1998 to merge the operations of the Performance Automotive Network's two Fairfield body shop operations (Performance Toyota's PERFORMANCE COLLISION CENTER and Performance Honda's PERFORMANCE PAINT AND BODY) under one roof. PERFORMANCE COLLISION CENTER expanded its building to its current 32,000 square foot facility and in 1998 became a single collision repair operation under the PERFORMANCE COLLISION CENTER name.

Today, PERFORMANCE COLLISION CENTER is one of the largest, state-of-the-art collision repair operations in the entire tri-state area. And we continue to grow, building on our reputation for quick, friendly, customer oriented service, and high-quality collision repairs.
